Charging by hourly rates

If your typical workflow involves charging by hourly rate, Banchan supports that, too!

What we recommend is the following:

First, set up an Offering with a base price option that defines your minimum hours for the commission. The price must be at least $20 due to Banchan's commission minimum:

From here, you have two choices: either set up an additional option configured as "not Always Included" but "Allow Multiple", which sets the price for one hour of work. This method would allow clients to request a certain number of hours during the commission request process.

The alternative is to use Custom Options during the commission itself to add a similar option, but one that only you can add and manage. This Custom Option can be priced at your hourly rate, and you can increase the amount per hour worked. Alternatively, you can simply set the amount to the total, and put the number of hours in the description. Up to you!
